Clearly this is the male, on the HE300VG I have in front of me....

Coding A

Now to find the female....

Which looks exactly like the unit in Steed's picture... for the 2007-2013 models

So the connector wiring is quite different, the outer 2 pins are power, the inner 2 are the canbus. However the HE300VG actuator uses the same exact addressing, so.. it runs just fine on the LBB.

So hmm.. this looks just like the male and female.

How did you do that ? Dang, hard work searching ? No special Cummins contacts.. ? It's even keyed correctly ? Golly gee.

Do you happen to know the pin out for the 300ve turbo on late trucks?

Tell Steed Dolan that.. dude refused to help, ignored me, ignored my customer. Then after a simple email, kinda you know... got angeryerereeed.

But yeah when I update the wiki, the connectors came in today, with various seal sizes, it uses the 5.2mm seal, comes in blue (super small awg) and red/brown (slightly larger awg)

I need to pigtail it, cause I left my phone at work and it had the layout :(

Just FYI it uses the same addressing, etc etc etc, it is all the same.

Yea he is not very helpful.  He is just mad that his method of tuning doesn't work near as well as yours.

I give him props for the work he has done on various turbos, but the guy is not the type to share.   Hence why I link your site for people wanting a off the shelf type of controller rather than my DIY ugly mess of an article lol.

I have him on my FB, yeah, I didn't find he was very helpful either.. I wanted to know a little more about resetting position, etc

Okay so the 300VG definitely will take values from 0 to 1000, not like 40 to 960 like the one on my truck..

My 351 takes values from 0 to 1000, except anything above 960 is considered 1000

There is a substantial diff from 960 to 990 to even 1000, so its 1000 points /shrug

I think the firmware can be updated on them.. I think mine may have been done, since I seem to have a much longer timeout on comms failure (75ms) than what yours has

A dodge dealer may be able to.. There was a guy selling a 351VE with no actuator who has all the tools, I think that came up in the discussion at some point

This is from Chryslers tech connect wiring diagram for a 2018 2500. EVERY other place in Chrysler cataloging is incorrect and shows the old connector.

I am a Chrysler Parts Adviser so if you guys have any other questions or need diagrams let me know.
