HE351VE Turbo Calibration

Two questions for the form,

Looking to find the home position for the turbo gear on the turbo?(pie shaped gear, hole in middle) No markings on turbo.

Looking to find the home position for the VGT Actuator b4 installing on turbo? No markings on actuator.

Are you talking about the crescent gear the actuator manipulates ? I believe it's all the way down for full open.

You don't need to home the actuator, just turn it on with it not connected to the gear, and it'll auto zero. Then disconnect power and connect it up.

Cresent gear on Turbo sounds good. Do you line up the hole in the middle of the cresent gear and the hole in the turbo.

yes, I think that's where it's supposed to be,.. there's a special pin for that, but lining it up by eye you get pretty darned close anyhow
