Is hakcenter still active?
If so does this seem right? It's been a few years, I've changed jobs and everything, and now I'm ready to get my brand new Cummins running.

Pinout and where to solder/install to.
Part one vgt actuator

Left to right rear of connector with locking clip, up
1-2-3-4
This wiring is to main plug harness and to relays for the main plug.
Pin-1) +5V pin 15, main harness to a relay to connect battery main power to fused power for 10A draw actuator.
Pin-2) can low pin 1 on main harness plug
Pin-3) can HI pin 9 on main harness
Pin-4) Ground, I'll run a battery/solid ground.

Part 2 VR sensor
VR sensor left to right clip up rear of connector

Pin-1) vr + pin 4 on main harness
Pin-2) ground pin 6 on main harness from lil black box spare ground.
Pin-3) VR - (negative) pin 5 on main harness

All wiring pins are looking at the rear of the connector, where the wires go into the connector not the use side, and the clip is always up
This should make everything work, I assume I have to power and have it reset the actuator before I install it on the turbo.

The pins are from looking at the rear of the connector. The board should also have it labeled just to be clear.
I know I know, the actual connector has pin numbers but it's too late at this point I don't want to confuse anyone.

The 12V power needs to come from a relay, preferably a 15amp fused key on relay.
I wouldn't share grounds with the controller unless you are having communications issues, typically frame ground is good enough for both.
So the vr connector and all that looks right?
You can use the 5v out for your relay, everything else looks fine.
