Title: Mini toggle switches
Post by: Rx7man on February 18, 2016, 12:18:02 PM
I just got my order of toggle switches.. it took a little while to get them...

5 mini toggle SPDT with center-off.. shipped form china for $3.96.. just can't beat that.. besides the auto parts store here couldn't even get them, I'm sure they'd be $5 each!

Really handy for controlling things like boost curve, etc.

they're pretty darned tiny.. perhaps the pic doesn't show that? mounting hole is about 8mm 5/16"th

I'm going to use them as dash-mount.. perhaps with an RGB LED above them to indicate position driven from a PWM driver.. at least that's the long term goal.

talking about how much they stick out.

I use these, they are like a buck a whack at the local electronics store.

I have a real Jake switch (pull type) for that... the rest I have on the dash where the cupholder used to be.. I'll be mounting the switches I posted on there.. One will probably be for the trailer brake response, probably find a use for more of them too.

I use momentary switches for lockup and eb

And a push pull pot to set vane curve and manual turbo position override

I also have a momentary contact pushbutton on the T handle of the shifter... haven't put it to use yet, it will most likely control the line-lock on the front brakes as well as increase trailer brake sensitivity.. I got enough buttons to play with with my right hand for now.

Just thought these could be handy, and they're cheap to boot.

I have it to hold on hills and have front brakes applied if I need to do any winching... I'm sure it might get used for a burnout someday
