I have warped the veins on my vgt. there warped away from the turbine wheel.
I'll try to get a pic with a straight edge.
Hard to see.  :(

with the exchange rate that one is only about $680.

the warping from excessive heat?

I think it's from heat. fat mixture and reduced timing don't help.
I swapped it out. worried the electric control wont have the power to open it.
I'm dropping compressor wheel to the 58mm while I'm at it.
I added more timing and leaned my target afr on lpg. After the the big opps on gas.
I noticed some pitting on the exhaust valves. Read it was from lpg still burning going out exhaust.
So maybe it was that.

Here's my dad's old truck, 454 on propane.. I had to trailer it into town to fuel it up.. damn that thing is HEAVY.. it's about 8400 lbs as it sits there.. was really fun pulling it on a road that was near shear ice.

I would guess it's excessive heat that warped the vanes..   a little more timing may help a fair bit... I don't know a whole lot about LPG, but I did hear that fatter mixtures burn hotter, unlike gas

83 ranger 2.3 lima 30 psi boost.
i fill of my house tank adapter cost like $100 on ebay.
Running lean under boost with a spark engine is just goes against everything I'm used to.
But From what I read 16 to 1 afr is the sweet spot.

I have an F600 that had a 370 Lima engine.. water got into it and cracked the cylinder from the inside when it froze (doh).. 5000 miles on the truck too.

That truck must go pretty good, and unless it terribly cold, it probably starts nice too.

It starts ok. Needs more tuning for cold starts but it is dual fuel. Megasquirt changes witch injectors it's firing instantly.
1st to second gear sucks shift at 5k drops to 3k rpm. It looks like nothing. Kinda embarrassing to drive.
but 2500lb and 400hp make up for alot of that.
driven realy hard mpg might drop to 18 mpg. Gets close to 30 mpg highway drops to 25 24 freeway no OD.

That looks like a nice simple system.

Dad's old chevy is 4.56 gears and no OD either.. not great mileage but it'll pull stumps

yeah that's some low gears.
use temp differences to move lpg. not fast but cheap. plus lpg delivered to house $1.50 right now in winter.
summer i get the fastest fills 25 gallons in under 1hr. icing tank to be filled free ice at work.

So it would take about 3 hours to fill my dad's truck!.. it has a 60 gallon tank on one side and a 25 on the other.

LPG is $.74 /liter here, and with the lesser fuel mileage you usually get with it it just isn't worth it to convert here anymore... Last winter one gas station was charging $1.40/L!!

My dad replaced the cam in that truck a while back, and he totally put the wrong cam in it.. he took some smogger cam from GM, and he'd have been way farther ahead to get a Crane or Comp RV cam.. Oh well, all it does now is feed cows and get firewood

That's alot of propane i get almost 600 miles out of my 25 gallon tank.
ouch lpg not cheap there.
I save a dollar every 30 miles. ;D

That truck as the aerodynamics of a Volvo built brick and weighs 8000 lbs empty.. if you want to get to the next LPG station you might need a lot of storage
