Title: Will this be OK if I just spray it with copper spray and toss it back on?

Silicone may work better for 'larger gaps'

I have some right stuff somewhere.  I'll give that a whirl.  If that doesn't work, i'm just going to not use a gasket at all and just JB weld the head to the block

If it doesn't work just call up Permatex and bitch and whine that their product is garbage!
