Question on a 2004

Will the lil black box work on a 2004 dodge ram cummins for a vgt turbo off a 2010 6.7? I heard that the 2004 dodge ram is PCI BUS and not CAN BUS, and I believe that the lil black box is for CAN BUS if im correct.
