Units are up for sale on the store page, let me know if there is any issues ordering.

You'll need to add the connectors you need as well.

Is there a way to get the full sketch so I can add this in?

How about some math ?
1000 rpm per bit ADC out ?

Or maybe 2000 rpm per PWM ?

Never really gave it much thought but you have some pins at your disposal. Could even create a serial interface if you wanted to lose two of the inputs.

All the input pins have a 10k pull up jumper you could just remove and reuse the input as you see fit.

Not sure if the adcs could be used for serial either.

After some thought, would it make sense to wire the 4 mode wires straight to digital pins on my MEGA? Low state would trigger mode, correct?

General Discussion / Turbo RPM Gauge
Last post by jamesstubb - March 23, 2023, 12:06:19 PM
Im running a Mega board with some analog sensors into an Android head unit via CAN to display RealDash. RealDash will also be controlling a relay board for LilBB mode control as well as other accessories. What I want to accomplish is sending Turbo RPM into RealDash via my Mega board.

Im pretty new to the coding world, but my thought for simplicity sake is to output Turbo RPM from LilBB as an analog voltage that I can feed into my Mega and decode it that way. This seems like lightest load on the LilBB as well as the easiest way for me to pull data into RealDash.

If this is feasible, how would I connect the standalone to the mega? Im pretty sure I can figure out the code to make it work.

General Discussion / Re: 6.4 Compound VGT control?
Last post by hakcenter - March 20, 2023, 11:21:23 PM
For compounding you'll need a wastegate.

Wastegate will have to be setup by boost / back pressure.

It can certainly be done. You'll need to tune the top end accordingly as it'll probably surge with the current ramps. It's pretty easy to see how it's setup in the code though.

I know it's probably more complicated but why not twin VGTs ? I thought it would be pretty sweet to control two VGTs with a single controller through canbus and basically just double up the sizes.

920 for idle and re-tune the whole middle / top end.

General Discussion / 6.4 Compound VGT control?
Last post by JakeS - March 20, 2023, 11:12:35 PM
Hey guys I'm wondering if I can get some expert advice on possibly controlling the VGT on a 6.4 compound setup. I have a 2008 Ford f350 with a 97 p-pump 12 valve Cummins in it. I have everything figured out as far as mounting and design except how to control the VGT, it's the only thing holding me back. Wondering if the standalone would work for but I do understand turbine rpm is a big part in tuning, so any advice would be awesome.

I know it's very impractical 😂 but would be sweet to pop the hood and see it haha.

Everything looks good, forgot to buy connectors and whatnot. Updating store layout etc. Hopefully it'll be a smooth transition  :-\

Well the spare pin has pwm 🤷♂️

If you wanna try and figure it out lol, no idea if that turbo has a shaft speed sensor and if it did best way to integrate it.

Sorry
